Install the app (PWA)

Sacrament Registry runs in the browser. You can also add it to your home screen or app launcher as a progressive web app (PWA). That does not replace parish policies or sign-in security—it simply opens the same parish management software with one tap, which many teams prefer for daily sacramental record management.

How to install

  1. Open Sacrament Registry in a supported browser after you sign in.
  2. Use your browser’s “Install”, “Add to Home Screen”, or equivalent option (often under the menu or share sheet).
  3. Confirm the install prompt. The icon opens the same URL you already trust.

Exact labels vary by device and browser; your IT contact or browser help pages can point to the right menu if you do not see “Install” immediately.

Why install—or not

Installing is optional. It can make diocesan coordination easier for travelling clergy or catechists who use the same device each week. Using only the browser remains fine when you prefer not to add anything to the device or you always want the very latest shell without an install step.
